THE NPC is the first artwork created in Mystiic Khalifa's iconic NPC Collection, a body of work that would go on to become the foundation of his artistic identity.

Inspired by the concept of "Non Player Characters" from video games, this piece explores the growing loss of individuality in modern society. It questions what happens when people stop thinking for themselves and begin blindly following the opinions, trends, and narratives placed in front of them.

Created in 2023, THE NPC marked a turning point in Mystiic's artistic journey. It was the first time he fully embraced the NPC concept, using art as a way to challenge conformity, encourage critical thinking, and spark conversation about the world around us. What began as a single painting would eventually evolve into an entire collection featuring characters, pop culture icons, and social commentary through the lens of the NPC philosophy.
