Description

Peanut Butter is a humorous and provocative painting that explores the absurdity of internet culture and the way our minds have been conditioned to interpret even the most innocent things.

The painting features an NPC (Non-Player Character) dipping his banana into a jar of peanut butter. While the action itself appears completely harmless, the internet has given peanut butter a rather questionable reputation.

Inspired by the inappropriate assumptions and jokes people make online, Mystiic Khalifa turns this ordinary act into a playful commentary on perception, suggesting that sometimes the meaning we find in something says more about our own minds than the subject itself.

With exaggerated features, bold black outlines, vibrant colours, and a chaotic purple background, Peanut Butter combines satire, absurdity, and the expressive freedom of contemporary art.

The joke isn't necessarily what's happening in the painting. The joke is what you think is happening.

A one of a kind original that challenges viewers to question their assumptions, embrace humor, and recognize how internet culture shapes the way we see the world.
